We are looking for a LabVIEW and Data Acquisition Engineer which designs, develops, and maintains automated test systems and measurement solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge hardware and software to control instruments, process sensor signals, and log data for analysis LabVIEW Data Acquisition. The candidate should possess strong communication skills to support seamless workflow and high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced aviation environment. Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Hardware Integration: Connecting and calibrating sensors, actuators, benchtop instruments, and data acquisition (DAQ) boards with computer systems.
- Automated Test Development: Writing scalable code to run automated stress tests, validation routines, and Quality Assurance (QA) checks on manufactured products.
- UI/HMI Design: Building visual control dashboards (Human-Machine Interfaces) that operators use to view live telemetry and control machinery.
- Troubleshooting: Reversing engineering old setups and diagnosing cross-disciplinary system failures spanning mechanical, electrical, and software domains
- Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment (e.g., documenting something that is already built)
- Support automated test software development
- Review and verify automated test procedures that will drive software changes required to support operations
- Present project/technical status to peers, internal management and customers
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills – ability to multitask and delegate work to support technicians, engineering project assistants, and peers
- Demonstrate knowledge of hardware processes, tools, methods, workflow, and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- CLAD (Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer): Demonstrates basic, foundational environment knowledge.
- CLD (Certified LabVIEW Developer): Validates the ability to design functional, maintainable, and well-documented applications.
- CLA (Certified LabVIEW Architect): The highest tier, indicating mastery in leading large-scale development teams and system frameworks.
- CLED (Certified LabVIEW Embedded Systems Developer): Specializes in real-time and FPGA hardware deployments
