Our growing Ultifi Design team within SDV is seeking a highly-motivated, passionate and talentedProgram Manager to lead the creation and execution of software products in the user interface organization. As an Ultifi Design Program Manager, you are part of a product design team, creating experiences that touch millions of users across multiple vehicle brands and digital platforms. Your ability to manage process, projects, and people in a highly dynamic environment - with changing priorities and schedules - will be crucial to our team's success and our customers' satisfaction.
You will lead and facilitate the planning, execution, and delivery of Ultifi Design projects through concept to production. Your day-to-day project management and process guidance skills will ensure that user interface design activities meet project scope, schedule, and quality expectations throughout the entire product development life cycle.

You will lead and facilitate the planning, execution, and delivery of Ultifi Design projects through concept to production. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Scope & Priority Management - Identifying and maintaining the scope of work to be performed prior to the start of that work. Working with solution management to ensure work priorities are aligned and represented in design team Kanbans.
- Schedule Management - Creating, updating, and maintaining deliverable timing.
- Stakeholder Management - Communicating with stakeholders, both in writing and verbally, and helping prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
- Risk/Opportunity Management - Identifying and resolving issues/risks/blockers relevant to work, schedules, and/or resources. Escalating this information to managers as needed.
- Communication Management - Setting up meetings and agendas and following up on action items. Collaborating with the Ultifi Design teams on tasks.
- Leadership - Serving as a key contact for the project, able to advise and provide information.
Skills/Abilities:
- Proven in-depth knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project methodology and work experience on large-scale projects/programs with a successful delivery record
- Demonstrated experience in strategic and tactical planning
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills in risk/opportunity management
- Practical experience leading and influencing internal team members and external partners/stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including active listening
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
- Proven capability to set clear expectations and manage team performance
- Basic understanding of user centered design
- Understanding of software development technology and the product development lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Product Design, Engineering or related
- 2 years of proven experience in program/project management, software, mobile, or related areas
- Familiarity with User Experience Design
- Certified SAFe Agile or experience with Agile Methodology
- Experience with Jira is a plus
- Must be a self-starter who excels in ambiguous situations
- Understanding of Systems Engineering principles
- Understanding of the Global Vehicle Development Process
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communications (oral & written) skills
