The Role:
As the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) manager role you will help create inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring the BrightDrop culture and values to life. You will help build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions to ensure that our global offices are safe, comfortable environments that reflect our values and enhance productivity.
As the REWS Manager you will be responsible for leading facilities, services and operations for the global BrightDrop portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (HR/People Operations, Finance, and Executive leadership) to design and manage services that help make BrightDrop a great place to work - from how we design safe and collaborative workspaces for hardware and software development, create energizing on-site experiences, to delivering inclusive environments where BrightDrop employees can thrive.
Your management abilities, strategic thinking, and partnership skills allow you to ensure service delivery across functions, departments, and businesses. You must be comfortable working in a matrix organization, building trust in difficult situations, getting buy-in and consensus from leaders with diverse opinions, driving decision making where trade-offs are required, and keeping information circulating to support the employee as BrightDrop expands. Your relationship skills will allow you to provide great support and partnership to solve complex workspace challenges and create amazing environments and experiences for all BrightDrop team members.

Responsibilities:

Lead BrightDrop's global real estate strategy and project management, overseeing transactions, budgets, site selection, and design-construction project management.

Own both strategic planning and the global operating budget for Workplace end-to-end, working closely with Finance and BrightDrop leadership to drive consensus towards a unified strategy for all BrightDrop facilities and workspaces.

Cultivate partnerships across the company to ensure delivery of office space and services, with teams including Finance, Legal, IT, Country Leads, HR/People Operations.

Be responsible for delivering multiple projects - of varying sizes and scopes - concurrently. From small refreshes to coordinating with a landlord on a new build, you will have full responsibility for ensuring that each project is scoped appropriately, is staffed with the right team, and is delivered on time and within budget.

Scope and define a project's problem statement, establish actionable metrics, and develop data-based solutions that guide users on how to assess business tradeoffs and outcomes

Engage and actively manage external vendors to ensure that work of the highest quality is being delivered: architects, brokers, project managers, general contractors.

Collaborate extensively with internal teams to ensure that the right people are in the room for each project: IT/AV, Security, Branding/Graphics, Workplace Services etc.
- Structure and perform analyses independently, and conduct research to uncover the insights that will lead to business recommendations
Additional Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:

8 years of experience leading strategy and project management for real estate and workplace design in a fast-growing company.
- Experience overseeing and governing facilities budgets with financial and contract management skills.
Very strong vendor management experience

Ability to work comfortably and effectively with senior leaders and/or officers as well as with administrative staff.

Strong management skills and a reputation for being a team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

8 years experience in construction, facilities management, or hospitality industry preferably across global markets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Commercial kitchen programming, design and construction experience
