Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join our fast-growing team at General Mortgage Capital Corporation. This position is only open to people with at least 3 years of processing experience or similar relevant industries or fields such as underwriting or financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters in the evaluation and analysis of loan applications.
- Process and verify loan documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain and update loan application databases.
- Perform initial underwriting reviews to identify potential issues.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to inbound/outbound communications
- Utilize company-built AI tools to optimize your performance and enhance your speed.
Qualifications:
- College graduate with a degree in a related field. STEM and business majors preferred but not required.
- 3 years of relevant experience in industries such as financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Encompass and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Eligible to work in the United States;
- Multilingual so you can interact with clients and LOs from a variety of backgrounds.
