Senior Loan Processor

Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join our fast-growing team at General Mortgage Capital Corporation. This position is only open to people with at least 3 years of processing experience or similar relevant industries or fields such as underwriting or financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist underwriters in the evaluation and analysis of loan applications.
• Process and verify loan documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain and update loan application databases.
• Perform initial underwriting reviews to identify potential issues.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to inbound/outbound communications
  
  

Qualifications:

• College graduate with a degree in a related field. STEM and business majors preferred but not required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in industries such as financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Encompass and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in the United States; H-1 visa sponsorship may be available.
• Multilingual so you can interact with clients and LOs from a variety of backgrounds.
