What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sourcing Manager, Digital & Technology position at General Mills?
As a Sourcing Manger, Digital & Technology you will manage all aspects of the strategic sourcing process for a subset of Digital & Technology projects. In addition this role will own end to end supplier relationship and development.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Partner with the Global Sourcing Center to develop category strategies and implement with a focus on digital advancement of the Pet segment
- Represent category and sourcing priorities with cross-functional partners and the operating unit
- Develop negotiation, cost management and supplier management strategies to achieve segment and D&T function goals
- Develop strategic sourcing plans that provide General Mills with a competitive advantage and deliver long term consistent, secure, and cost-effective supply
- Comply with corporate and regulatory policies and accounting practicesLearn and leverage continuous improvement tools and processes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Economics preferred
- At least 7 years of Sourcing and/or IT Vendor Management business processes and systems experience
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business results
- Contract negotiations, risk management, market analysis, economic analysis, financial analysis experiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of Cyber Security risks and commercial and legal terms in technology contracts
