OVERVIEW
Join General Mills as part of the Morning Foods Operating Unit as the Brand Associate for Kid Cereal, with focus on Reese’s Puff, Portfolio Nutrition, budget management, and business performance reporting. The Family Favorites business unit is the epicenter of kid fun in General Mills and this is an awesome opportunity to make an impact on several of our most iconic cereal brands.
In this Brand Associate role, you will have ownership of the Reese’s Puffs seasonal businesses. Seasonal is critical to GMI cereal’s success, so you will play a key role in making that happen. You also will have the opportunity to support portfolio wide brand building initiatives, helping identify brand strategies and turning ideas into execution. As the budget lead, you will oversee key budgets for the FFBU, working cross-functional to maintain organization of $70MM in consumer spend. As the lead for business reporting, your work will be important in understanding performance YTD and will help leadership make accurate business decisions.

The capabilities and experiences you’ll build in this role include Cross-Functional Team Leadership, Project Management, Product Management, Business Analytics, and Brand Building.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Reese’s Puffs Seasonal Ownership
- Lead cross-functional team to execute Reese’s Bats and Bunnies seasonal launches
- Oversee critical project management tasks including CPW management, volume forecasting, and performance tracking
- Partner with Sales to create customer sell-in strategies
Project Management
- Support ABMs and cross-functional teams on all projects relating to Reese’s Puffs, including new product launches and HMM opportunities
- Execute key projects tasks like STEP, ECLIPS, and product/sales sample requests
- Manage BU wide packaging initiative to promote the nutritional benefits of Big G cereal products: items included generate $1B yearly!
- Lead ad-hoc projects including packaging updates and improvement to PEAK processes
Reporting, Analytics, and Budget Management
- Deliver weekly business performance and tracking report sent to key stakeholders in the BU
- Provide ad hoc performance summaries to members of the BU to identify opportunities/trends/solutions across the 4Ps
- Own budget management and tracking across iconic brands including Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of experience post-undergrad
- Ability to effectively build team relationships
- Demonstrated ability to learn on the job
- Strong analytical mindset
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks based on brand priorities
- Ability to analyze data and create recommended actions across 4Ps
- Ability to influence others without formal authority

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $61700.00 - $92700.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
