Electrical Responsibilities

• Build Junction boxes
• Build Assemblies/Machines
• Wiring Machines to print
• Reading and understanding schematics
• Cutting panel access openings
• Crimping terminals
• Splice wires by hand or machine
• Labeling wires
• Soldering skills
• Voltage and AMP devices and knowledge
• Electrical troubleshooting skills

Mechanical Responsibilities

• Fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches, and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment, using hand tools and power tools: Analyzes assembly blueprint and specifications manual, and plans machine building operations.
• Lays out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly.
• Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolts, screws, dowels, parts together, using hand tools, or arranges for assembly by electrician.
• Be able to work without constant supervision or direction, but from a end goal
• Be able to document items fabricated from scratch
• Provide own tools

Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• At least associates degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or higher is desired
• OR demonstrated / documented vocational training in these fields
• 2 years’ experience in related field
• Ability to work under pressure
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass drug testing

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally to lift up to 70lbs

Please note the following:

This position pays hourly - 40 Hours/week- May require overtime occasionally.

Position Requirement:

U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to obligations under government contracts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
