Bistro Attendant (PM)

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a Bistro Attendant for our Courtyard by Marriott, Muncie. The Bistro Attendant is a key role in our ability to provide high levels of hospitality and service to our guests.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Ensure highest levels of food safety.
• Engage with guests to take orders and process payments.
• Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, and general cleaning of prep areas and other areas within the lobby.
• Accurately maintain cash register and credit receipts.
• Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment and machines.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required. Previous experience in a similar position or within a hotel preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Guest service-oriented demeanor is required. Candidate should be willing to go above and beyond for our guests and have a professional, positive attitude.
• Ability to read and speak English.
