Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions - Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner - Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Electrical Troubleshooting: The ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues is crucial.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Leadership and supervisory experience is desirable
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Flexible Hours with the ability to stay after scheduled shift or in emergency situations
- Physical Ability: The ability to lift heavy materials, work in various environments, and perform manual tasks is often required.
