Systems Engineering Documentation Specialist

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for the General Dynamics Maritime & Strategic Systems business area, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing systems-level engineering integration on the world's most advanced torpedo systems.

7. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and organize multiple documents and tasks efficiently.
8. Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, JIRA, or other requirements management and documentation software.
9. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues in documentation and test processes.
10. Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles: Knowledge of the fundamental principles and practices of systems engineering.

Combined Salary Range

USD $88,651.00 - USD $98,348.00 /Yr.
