Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

- Highly skilled in Mechanical Engineering Design
- Strong Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software
- Engineering background/experience in the Undersea Domain
What sets you apart:
- Knowledge of autonomounmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts
- Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems
- Ability to supervise or manage lower-level employees
- Experience leading tasks for small to medium teams or projects
- Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Exceptional communication skills with experience writing technical papers and proposals
