General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking motivated candidates to join our team. We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer who possesses a wide-array skills and the ability to "pivot without mercy" in order to address dynamic customer priorities as they arise.
- Strong writing abilities are critical, along with the comprehension skills to capture and summarize technical requirements that can be accurately relayed to customer decision makers. You will attend many senior strategy meetings, record requirements, and author written products to document deliverables.
- A mastery of Microsoft
- PowerPoint is a must, as well as a creative ability to craft visually appealing presentations consumed by senior leadership, as well as training and awareness material for an entire global organization. Presentations must adhere to high levels of detail and messaging must remain on-brand.
- Organizational skills will be key to identify/document requirements and their associated priorities, track related actions, and report status to senior leadership and individual contributors.
- Documentation abilities will be leveraged in order to work with engineers and analysts so that standard operating procedures and user manuals are authored and clearly understandable for all consumers.
- Executive briefing skills are highly desirable and will utilized in order to ensure contract and customer leadership have the necessary situational awareness of the status of all priority projects.
- A basic understanding of insider threat and counterintelligence fundamentals would be advantageous
- All work will be performed within a Scaled Agile project management framework in order to incrementally show progress on all customer issued directives.
