What You’ll Experience
- Build and maintain security artifacts like Risk Management Framework (RMF) security plans, testing plans, and System Impact Analyses to ensure compliance, readiness, and legitimate security of government systems.
- Conduct security tests and vulnerability scans using both manual and automated methods to identify and address risks.
- Collaborate with Development and Test teams to integrate and verify security requirements in cutting-edge cloud-native DevSecOps environments.
- Lead and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events, ensuring systems meet critical security standards.
- Work on-site at customer facility in Boulder Colorado, Buckley Air Force Base or remotely from home (3-5 days/week on site), driving hands-on impact.
What You Bring to the Table
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 RMF, STIGs, and the Assessment and Authorization process.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and cloud-native technologies (FedRAMP experience is a plus).
- A proactive security mindset with the ability to identify and challenge system behaviors that deviate from security principles.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey complex security concepts clearly.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
