Machine Shop Maintenance Mechanic:
* Maintain proper coolant mixture and levels in all machinery in the shipyard (i.e. Machine shop, R&D, Pipe shop,
etc.)
* Change machine coolant and dispose of all hazardous waste generated
. Change filters
* Check and maintain oil levels
* Part of a team to in perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on all major equipment
Required:
- 2 - 5 years of mechanical experience
- 2 - 5 years experience working around operating equipment
- Available to work all shifts and to support overtime as needed
HS Diploma / Ged OR 2 years of related technical experience
- Basic tool applications and use
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from policies and procedures
