Overview:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Electric Boat - Groton is seeking a Facilities Planning Supervisor who will lead a team of Planners in a fast paced environment performing planning in support of Groton Facilities Department.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitoring construction schedules
- Oversee Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Planned Outages, and Unplanned Outage communication
- Collecting and reporting status of job progress
- Maintaining work package status
- Performing tactical problem solving
- Coordinate with other Production and Planning organizations
- Overseeing maintenance department purchasing processes, such as: Oracle, PEWO system.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 4 years of experience in Facilities Planning
- 2 Years experience working with a CMMS Program
Preferred:
- Trade experience a Plus
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Skilled computer user
- Ability to maneuver the shipyard
- Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and high pressure situations with professionalism
