Examples Of The Type Of Work This Position Offers

• Develop and review changes to electrical system diagrams including system interfaces
• Evaluate electrical cableways design and routing drawings
• Troubleshoot issues identified by construction team
• Write procedures to test and maintain electrical systems
• Interface with internal customers to ensure the system is installed to plan
• Work with operations to support installation and test
• Review and mentor junior engineers
  
  

Electric Boat offers Flexible Work Arrangements that allows some work to be performed remotely and at home. This varies from position to position based on the amount of classified material the department interacts with, as well as a few other variables. Required

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or similar electrical education (BS degree)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Level Clearance
• 10 or more years of post graduate engineering experience

• Prior defense contractor systems engineering experience
• Former submarine service
• Shipyard/manufacturing experience
