Job Summary - Garage Door Manufacturing
We are seeking dependable, safety-focused Production Associates to join our garage door manufacturing team. In this position, you will work as part of a production time to manufacture, assemble, package, and prepare residential and commercial garage door products for shipment.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role that requires attention to quality, the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn multiple production jobs. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required --we provide on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, assemble, and package garage door sections and components
- Read production orders, labels, specifications, and basic measurements
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Identify and report damaged materials, defects, or equipment problems
- Move materials and completed products throughout the production area
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation
- Follow all company safety procedure and wear required personal protective equipment
- Meet daily production and quality expectations
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and other production team members
- Learn and perform multiple jobs within the manufacturing operation
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or construction experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attendance, dependability, and work ethic
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for the duration of the shift
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and heavier or oversized products with team assistance or material-handling equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- Ability to safely perform repetitive production tasks
