We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing construction sites by performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. This position offers an engaging environment where your effort directly contributes to successful project completion.
- Assist with site excavation, utility construction and other construction activities
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently on-site
- Support skilled workers such as operators and foreperson by providing necessary assistance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision as needed
- Help with demolition tasks when required to clear existing structures or obstacles
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting heavy objects, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Prior experience in construction or laborer roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license may be beneficial for transportation between sites
