General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We currently operate in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties as consultants to over 11,000 licensed retail business customers helping them to profitably select, promote, merchandise, and sell consumer products in the beverage category. The Merchandiser position works as part of the sales department to increase overall sales and expand company growth. The Merchandiser is responsible for stocking shelves, rotating product, building displays, mounting point of sale and collaborating with the sales and delivery team to ensure product is available and displayed at retail according to plan.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Displays strong work ethic by diligently completing physical job and problem-solving issues as they
arise to ensure sales force and retailer needs are met
Communicates in a friendly and professional manner to develop trusted relationships with sales
team and retailers, and proactively conveys issues and asks questions
Demonstrates keen attention to detail while fulfilling responsibilities
Adapts to new challenges, including daily market and sales force needs
Competitive and results-driven, showing strong initiative and commitment to best-in-class service
Acts with honesty and transparency and treats others with respect, dignity and fairness
Builds rapport with colleagues and retailers, and is welcoming to all
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day, and pass a pre-employment lift test??
Must be able to reach, twist, and bend
Willingness to train in industrial lift equipment
Must have reliable vehicle
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Stock, fill and merchandise all coolers, shelves, and displays at assigned accounts.
Build displays ensuring that POS is used in the proper manner and quantity to enhance visibility.?????
Install and remove permanent POS within accounts.???
Rotate product at retail to ensure freshness
Deliver products at the request of the office staff / management.????????
When necessary, maintain and operate hand-held computer unit proficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
