Position description: Mid-Level Quality Part Inspector needed at our Weatherford, TX location!
Our Quality Inspectors validate and record the quality condition of incoming and outgoing material and products, as well as inspections during the manufacturing process. They also identify areas of improvement to increase both efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects all incoming materials by confirming adherence to specifications and customer drawings.
- Performs visual inspections to ensure that all customer requirements are being attained.
- Performs dimensional inspections via mechanical measurement and Hexagon measuring equipment.
- Inspects all finished products by confirming adherence to specifications and customer drawings.
- Documents inspection results by completing inspection reports.
- Keeps measurement equipment in good operational condition by following operating instructions and basic protocol for maintaining measuring equipment.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Communicates all rejections to the Quality Manager for review.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand aerospace drawings is required
- Accurate and Competent with Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, and other measuring devices
- Good knowledge of raw metal materials is helpful
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient documentation skills required with accurate written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work as a team in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements is a strong advantage
- Competent knowledge of MS Office, Word and Excel.
- 3-5 years previous work experience in quality control preferred but not required

Experience:
- reading aerospace drawings: 1 year (Required)
- Aerospace Quality Inspection: 1 year (Required)
- Using Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges to perform inspections : 1 year (Preferred)
