Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and other scheduled services
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform state inspections and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
- Test vehicle systems and components before and after repairs
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
- Coordinate with parts suppliers to obtain necessary components
- Work with insurance companies on covered repairs when applicable
- Recommend maintenance and repair services to customers when needed
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Vocational or technical school training preferred
- ASE Certification preferred, but not required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience using a variety of automotive hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
