Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform traditional signals analysis functions such as RF survey, waveform analysis and bit stream analysis deriving signal identification of known and unknown radio systems.
- Perform technical writing in the form of analytical findings and signal activity reports.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships and networks with tactical and national SIGINT stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Knowledge of the RF domain is an essential aspect of the position
- A strong working knowledge of SIGINT analysis tools and techniques, specifically those for COMINT and/or PROFORMA
- Experience with radio waveform analysis determining signals externals such as center frequency, modulation and data rates as well as internal encoding schemes
- Must have at least 4 years SIGINT experience with at least 2 years of technical COMINT, PROFORMA or airborne ISR derived signals experience
- Proficient with standard Signals Analysis Tool (SAT) suite
- Proficient with Linux command line environment
- Proficient with MS Office programs
- Traditional signals analysis functions with 8 years of relevant experience and military training programs such as 451 (Intermediate Signal Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analyst) or civilian equivalent
- Field work setting up collection/processing systems and associated components such as receivers, filters and antennas
- Technical proposal writing
- Knowledge/experience with ISR platforms
Salary : $73,650 - $128,663
