We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Business Process Manager to work within our Airport Business Management (ABM) department. This position is onsite in Poway, CA with flexibility offered by a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off), one remote day per week, and a company rideshare program. The ABM department is headquartered at Flight Operations in Palmdale, CA while this position is onsite in Poway, CA.
This position is responsible for developing and managing business system transformation activities, projects, and programs. The position focuses on workflow automation, business process management software using low-code platforms, process orchestration, workflow design, and business rules and approvals. The ideal candidate enjoys process logic, creating automation, and translating business pain points and bottlenecks into system workflows and digital tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Develops and manages the business system transformation process to ensure business strategy and goals align using IT expertise, M365 solutions, and additional automation and workflow tools.
- Develops, maintains, and implements policies, practices, documentation, and guidelines to ensure business process transformation project(s) and program(s) are upheld and attained.
- Identifies issues, recommends solutions, manages the business case(s) for transformation of business functions to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.
- Advises business groups on strategic and tactical direction, prioritization, integration, and resource application to support scalable and sustainable growth.
- Develops, implements, and owns change of current and annual strategic objectives by building tools and automations to replace outdated manual processes and tools.
- Manages cross-functional projects to ensure timely execution of improvements.
- Provides onsite collaboration with Final Integration and Test (FIT) manufacturing and Industrial Engineering (IE) teams in Poway.
- Improves team productivity through automation to enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
- Manages planning, attraction, selection, retention. and development of human resources to ensure the availability of the required professional and technical talent.
- This position is an individual contributor with the understanding it could have direct reports as the ABM department grows.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in business administration, information technology or related discipline and eleven or more years of progressive strategic business experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must have detailed knowledge of business process principles, concepts, theory, and practices as well as strong project leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines.
- Must be able to contribute to the development of new business process principles and concepts and be able to resolve complex management and technical problems.
- Must be able to serve as a spokesperson on projects and/or programs.
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with others.
- Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment.
- Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required.
- Prior experience developing front & back-end solutions using Microsoft 365 Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Prior experience developing low-code solutions (e.g Mendix).
- Prior experience developing data visualization dashboards using Power BI.
