Job Description
We are seeking a working Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and facility infrastructure in a heavy manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe, reliable equipment performance and provides leadership to maintenance employees across a three-shift operation.
This position supervises the team to perform work safely and efficiently while meeting plant policies, environmental expectations, and quality standards. They partner with others on the management team to support safety initiatives, audits, and compliance, ensuring equipment and facility conditions remain safe and operational.
Responsibilities include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance work to minimize downtime and disruptions, overseeing projects, inspections, and audits, and ensuring maintenance activities align with operational priorities. The role communicates key updates to plant leadership and coordinates with production teams to maintain efficiency across all shifts.
Additional responsibilities include evaluating employee performance, attendance, and workplace conduct; addressing skill gaps through training; and ensuring associates have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Other duties involve maintaining accurate work documentation, supporting compliance with plant rules, and providing schedule flexibility to assist the team as needed.
To succeed in this role, candidates should have an associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience, along with 2–4 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments. Experience supporting metals manufacturing or high-temperature industrial processes is strongly preferred. A strong commitment to workplace safety is required, as is the ability to support a three-shift operation with flexible scheduling. Familiarity with utilizing ERP systems such as SAP; Sage X3 or Plex maintenance and inventory systems is a plus.

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Exposure to elevated temperatures and industrial noise levels exceeding 85 dB
- Required PPE includes safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
Pay: $65,077.86 - $78,373.34 per year
