Position Description
This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, and stocking products in our central Commerce City warehouse. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is familiar with computer inventory systems, can be compliant with OSHA safety regulations, and is accurate in their work.
Your Day-to-Day
- Receive shipments and process in a timely manner
- Put away product accurately
- Pull orders for branches and customers
- Customer service for both internal and external customers
- Operate electric forklift and order picker
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork
- Properly package shipments in shipping containers
- Cycle count and report inventory discrepancies as needed
What You Bring to the Team
- Must have High School education or equivalent
- Industry/warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills i.e. Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of inventory processes and computer systems
- Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to read vendor shipping documents
- Ability to work accurately and with urgency while meeting a distribution schedule
- Compliance with safety regulations; (OSHA)
- Understanding of distribution vehicle requirements
- Strong Customer Service attitude
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Repetitive kneeling, bending, reaching
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
