We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. The Delivery Driver will play a critical role in maintaining inventory control and supporting warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory counts and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and assist in inventory control.
• Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking orders and managing deliveries efficiently.
• Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure safety in all operations, including heavy equipment operation when necessary.
• Assist in training new drivers or warehouse staff as needed, sharing knowledge of equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and cherry pickers, is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for operating heavy equipment may be necessary.

Compensation: $16.66 per hour
