What You’ll Do
- Perform repairs and services on all makes and models of generator sets
- Conduct inspections, repairs, services, and start-up load bank test requirements on equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment and services generator components including alternators, wiring harnesses, safety devices, shutdown switches, and battery systems
- Apply proper engine technical skills in inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, assembly, diagnosis, and engine operating performance tests
- Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Kohler, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo
- Maintain assigned vehicle inventory and able to travel throughout the local counties
- Respond to emergency service calls
- 3 years of service experience with power generation equipment
- Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, heating products, and transfer switch operations
- Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams
- Preventative maintenance and service experience with ability to travel locally
- Valid driver's license
