What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions and failures
- Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.
- Test and verify repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of generators and associated systems to identify potential issues or safety hazards.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and recommendations.
- Offer recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Complete and submit service reports in a timely manner.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs
- Communicate with inside staff regarding the status of work orders.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment and the ability to read technical schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working in various environmental conditions.
- Valid Driver's License
- Have your own tools
- 2 years working with generators
