What You’ll Do

• Assist with the installation of standby generators, i.e. transfer switch wiring, main panel cleanups, etc.
• Assist with the installation of clean energy systems, i.e. solar arrays, battery storage backup systems, off-grid systems, etc.
• Independently perform main panel replacements, installations of disconnect switches and sub-panels, service upgrades, overhead -> underground service conversions, etc.
• Diagnose and correct of various electrical problems
• Participate in housekeeping and restocking of company installation/fleet vehicles
• Other tasks and assignments per current business needs.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Excellent customer service, both external (customer facing) and internal (colleagues and coworkers)
• Thorough/working understanding of NEC and local code ordinances and requirements
• Minimum two to three years’ experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
• Comfortable with elevations, i.e. roof work, ladder and/or scaffolding work
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. frequently
• Valid driver’s license, experience towing open and enclosed trailers a plus
• Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance a plus
• Basic hand tools and trade-related equipment; specialty equipment is provided.
