Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
Work Schedule:
The regular working hours are from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is required on Fridays from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Physical Demands:
This role requires frequent talking and hearing, as well as the ability to manipulate objects or controls. You will be required to stand and walk regularly, and occasionally stoop, bend, or reach above your shoulders. You may be required to lift up to 25-50 pounds. The job involves frequent computer-based work, requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required.

- Perform assembly using work instructions, drawings, schematics, and electronic assembly equipment while adhering to safe operation standards.
- Cross-train in multiple assembly areas and adapt to similar departments based on business needs.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge to understand how assembled products impact the business.
- Stay up-to-date with job principles, practices, and processes as changes occur.
- Participate in team meetings to exchange job-related information.
- Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on complexity.
- Provide basic training to employees on work instructions/standard work as needed.
