We are actively seeking a highly motivated scientist with a robust background in assay development and design to spearhead our team. As the driving force behind our clinical diagnostic product's assay development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of precision medicine.
As our Assay Development Lead, you will spearhead the development of assays for the following groundbreaking projects:
- Multiplex PCR Assay Development: Unleash your expertise in designing and validating multiplex primers and probes for nucleic acids extracted from diverse and challenging samples, such as human stool and other complex matrices.
- PCR Optimization: Showcase your prowess in overcoming obstacles and perfecting PCR techniques, including the reduction of PCR inhibitors. Design and test multiple primers to ensure exceptional assay performance.
- Stool Preservation Buffer Development: Contribute your innovation and expertise in developing a cutting-edge stool preservation buffer that preserves sample integrity and maximizes diagnostic accuracy.
Minimum Education Requirement:
- Ph.D. in biology, molecular biology, or a related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Extensive experience in assay development and optimization of PCR and NGS-based clinical products.
- Demonstrated expertise in independently designing and driving projects, showcasing your ability to take the reins and achieve outstanding results.
- Proven experience leading projects, with a track record of effective leadership capabilities.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Familiarity with working on stool samples, harnessing your knowledge to address unique challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and convey complex ideas with clarity and impact.
- Strong publication records, showcasing your contributions to the scientific community.
