What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Repair Technician position at Gene's Floor Covering II?
Looking to IMMEDIATLY hire a full time person responsible for warranty and repair work of various types of flooring.
Must have previous experience installing / repairing flooring (Tile, EVP, Hardwood, Vinyl, LVT and/or Carpet).
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. If you have your own tools that is a plus, but it is not required.
Maintaining accurate documentation on all work performed is extremely important!!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspecting / Repairing damaged floors, showers, backsplashes and other installed surfaces
- Installation of flooring materials, trim and base
- Keeping up with daily time logs, notes and paperwork to be turned in weekly.
- Punctuality and well kept appearance is very important!
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
- Time Management
- Ability to lift up to /- 80lbs
- Paid gas and/ or mileage
- Must be able to articulate and communicate successfully with homeowners, builders and professional staff
- Must be knowledgeable in the flooring industry
This is an hourly position with excellent benefits. Pay is based on experience.
