We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Suppression Technician to join our growing team.
Job Summary
The Fire Suppression Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing, and repairing fire suppression systems, including kitchen hood, clean agent, and dry chemical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all work complies with NFPA codes, state and local regulations, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with system performance and compliance.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service calls.
- Travel to job sites within the service area.
- Safely operate company vehicles to and from job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in fire suppression or a related field preferred.
- NICET certification or applicable state license is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Must reside within a reasonable distance from our Brooklyn, OH location.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-hire background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Must be able to safely operate company vehicles.
- Must be able to work from heights.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize safety.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
