Position Summary
As a Line Cook, you play a critical role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence. You will be responsible for preparing menu items with precision, maintaining a clean and organized station, and ensuring every plate reflects our commitment to quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures
- Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure consistent portioning, cooking, and plating
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure timely service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, preferably in an upscale or fine-dining environment
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Exhibit strong knife skills and a solid understanding of cooking techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Maintain a professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
