What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Coordinator position at Genco Industries, Inc?
Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week minimum (OT as required)
Shift: First Shift, Monday – Friday (occasional Saturday)
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm (occasional OT)
Pay: $18-20/hour
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required
Experience/Qualifications: Solid computer, math, organizational, communication & interpersonal skills; must also be detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work well with members of several departments.
The candidate must have the initiative to dig for the root cause of inventory inaccuracies and fix them. Must also be able to work in a fast paced environment, be able think on his/her toes and work independently with our inventory management software. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work without constant direction are needed traits. The candidate needs to be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis without assistance, be able to drive a forklift (will train) and have solid computer skills. Will need to work well with and communicate with others (production, shipping/receiving & office).
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Small Electrical Assembly Company – 3000 active part numbers looking for qualified, motivated individual to do all of the following (sole person in department)…
- Pick, Stage and Issue Parts for jobs
- Organize warehouse for efficient part picking and storage
- Cycle Count as needed
- Manage the Year End Inventory Count and Reconciliation
- Reconcile inventory inaccuracies
- Communicate part shortages to others, notify others when parts arrive
- Serve as backup to shipping/receiving position
