Housekeeper duties include cleaning resident apartments and common areas throughout the community.
If hired, the applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enthusiastic, dedicated, organized and looking for long-term employment.
Must have good communication skills, be able to speak, read and write English well and be able to accomplish daily cleaning tasks as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Maintenance Director on scheduling changes and attendance issues in the department.
- Provide and forward in an expeditious manner any community complaints and concerns to the Maintenance Director
- Communicate when information needs to be passed on to other Housekeepers.
- Notify Maintenance Director about discipline issues in the department.
- Work with other housekeepers to ensure proper cleaning is being performed throughout the community.
- Follow Gencare Lifestyle move-in policy
- Assist residents with daily problems and concerns (non-caregiver inquiries, however, will forward immediately any caregiver questions to management)
- Notify Maintenance Director of cleaning supplies as needed
- Document any repairs needed in the maintenance logbook, however immediately report any major repairs to the Executive Director and safety issues to the appropriate Safety Committee member
- Assist with team member training and covering other shifts if required
