What will I do as an Associate Nursing Home Administrator with Genacross?
- Assist the Nursing Home Admin in daily operations, strategic planning and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise department heads and ensures effective coordination among nursing, dietary housekeeping maintenance and administrative teams.
- Monitor responsibilities and satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and resident outcomes.
- Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Facilitate staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
- Serve as acting administrator in the absence of the Nursing Home Administrator.
- Foster a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion for residents and staff.
Associate Nursing Home Administrator Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field (master's preferred).
- Current State licensure or eligibility as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or healthcare management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing homes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and systems.
