Pre-Roll Technician
Reports To: Pre-Roll Supervisor

Job Summary
The Pre-Roll Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining pre-roll milling, infusion, and filling equipment. Attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our pre-roll manufacturing process.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4pm)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to
- Ensuring all Pre-Roll manufacturing processes are followed according to prescribed SOPs while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies.
- Prescreening and hand sorting cannabis to prepare material for Pre-Roll manufacturing.
- Utilizing Pre-Roll manufacturing equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Precision weighing with calibrated scales both in manufacturing and QC processes.
- Packaging and labeling pre-rolls in a timely manner.
- Maintaining highly accurate electric records.
- Sharing responsibility for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.
- Maintaining and tracking inventory levels with a close eye on lead-times to ensure production expectations are kept on track.
- Troubleshooting and resolving minor mechanical issues that may arise.
- Collaborating with the production team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Responsible for upholding company standards and being respectful to all co-workers.
- Developing skill in analyzing potential problems and bringing these issues to a manager’s attention.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper handling procedures for our GMP cannabis facility.
- Assisting with other tasks in the manufacturing process, such as labeling, packaging, or inventory management, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- High School diploma required.
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings, as production demands require.
Equipment, Machines and Software Used:
This position requires the regular use of computers and manufacturing equipment.
Mental Requirements:
- Sustained focus while performing repetitive tasks in a seated position.
- Effective communication and collaboration with team members across affiliated business units.
- Professional comfort working in a regulated cannabis manufacturing and distribution environment.
Physical Exertion:
Moderate Work- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Work may include loading and unloading cases of product, setting up, lifting, lowering, and moving product.
Environmental Conditions:
Indoor Work- Indoor environments may include exposure to temperature variations, such as unheated or non-air-conditioned areas.
Travel:
No Regular Travel- This position does not require regular travel.
