Overview
The RegionalOperations Manager provides strategic leadership to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable operations. This role drives process optimization, aligns functions with corporate objectives, and delivers measurable improvements in productivity and operational excellence.
Duties
- Strategic Planning: Translate corporate goals into actionable KPIs and monitor progress.
- Operational Oversight: Direct multi-site operations, optimize workflows, and allocate resources for maximum efficiency.
- Financial Management: Developing and overseeing operational budgets and managing Profit and Loss (P&L).
- Leadership: Managing cross-functional teams, often including subordinate managers, and overseeing recruitment, training, and performance reviews; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Risk: Maintain full compliance with environmental and regulatory obligations, safeguard proprietary information under company policy, and uphold GEN-TECH’s professional image in all external relations.
- Reporting: Deliver accurate operational reports and actionable insights to Executive Management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions promptly
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive work environment
Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering
- Experience: 5–10 years of operations leadership experience within the power generation sector, demonstrating proven P&L responsibility and expertise in managing multi-site facilities
- Ability to understand business objectives and develop and manage KPIs for measurement of success.
- Proven experience in managing multi-site operations within a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and drive results through motivation and clear communication
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret data, develop insights, and implement strategic solutions
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
