Key Responsibilities
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and develop automated tests for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics layers
- Execute and maintain testing for big data/data warehouse environments
- Log, track, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects and production incidents
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on testing, automation, and frameworks
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and procedures
- Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team and support other duties as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University (computer science or engineering field); and three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience developing automated Data Warehouse tests with the AWS platform with proficiency in Snowflake, SQL and Shell/Bash scripting
- Experience using Athena and Databricks
- Experience with ETL, big data and data warehouse test tools
- Experience with reporting tools and BI testing
- Experience with integrating test automation within a continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Telecom and 5G domain knowledge required
- Understanding of Agile and SCRUM
- Knowledge of test management tools such as ALM, or a similar tool is desirable
