Lunchroom Supervisor - Nixon
The role of the Lunchroom/Recess Supervisor is to monitor the daily routines of students both in the lunch setting and/or on the playground.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily routines of the cafeteria and/or playground;
Responsible for the maintenance of playground equipment;
Notify teachers/administration of any challenging behaviors of students;
Supports the social/emotional needs of students and behavior plans;
Assist students with basic needs during lunchroom duties such as cutting food, opening packages and cleaning up spills;
Take children to the restroom or school nurse as needed;
Answer questions from students and staff;
Administer basic first-aid as needed;
Other related duties as assigned.
Classification: ESPAS Level 4 Unit Position
Hiring is contingent upon a successful CORI and fingerprinting clearance.
