What’s the role?
As the Director Technology - Investran, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, implementing, and maintaining Investran and similar applications, ensuring its smooth operation and integration with other business systems. You will work closely with various departments, including product management, business stakeholders, portfolio management and peer technology teams, to support and enhance the use of the Investran platform across the organization.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and supporting the Investran application, ensuring it meets business requirements and operates efficiently.
- Providing ongoing system administration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Conducting regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and system health checks.
- Developing and maintaining documentation related to system configurations, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Developing integrations between Investran and other enterprise applications, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Supporting testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Investran platform and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
- Assisting in preparing reports and data extraction from Investran for analysis, audits, and decision- making.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal background for this role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent higher education) in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Investran or similar private equity/investment management software (minimum of 3 years).
- Experience in system configuration, customization, and integration of financial applications.
- Investran certifications beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of the Investran database structure, DIU, OLEDB, Automated Templates, Business Events.
- Proven experience managing Investran in a multi-client private equity fund administration environment.
- Hands-on experience in developing a private equity platform with Investran as the core system
- Proficiency in SQL and data query languages to extract and manipulate data.
- Experience beneficial in .Net development, including integrations with SOAP and REST based APIs.
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools used in conjunction with Investran (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Self-motivated, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders;
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000, in addition to a commission plan and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
