  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, direct lenders, rating agencies (as applicable), and other capital providers.
  • Support the development of lender relationship strategies and maintain internal databases on lender preferences, terms, and transaction histories.
  • Work closely with investment teams throughout diligence to evaluate financing feasibility and implications.
  • Provide credit market insights that shape valuation, structuring, and deal thesis development.
  • Assist in reviewing and negotiating financing documentation (term sheets, grids, credit agreements, and intercreditor agreements).
  • Support ad hoc projects, including refinancing analyses, dividend recapitalizations, and capital markets strategy planning.

Key Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, capital markets, private credit, investment banking, or private equity.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze credit agreements, term sheets, and legal documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present financing strategies and market views clearly and confidently.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of ownership.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong investor judgment, practical problem-solving orientation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
