Job summary:
MLS is moving to a leadership structure that includes a Principal and House Principals for each grade band: Primary, Middle, and High School. This model is designed to strengthen consistency, relationships, and support across the school.
The High School House Principal leads a team that includes teachers, student advisors, social workers, and clinical staff. The role focuses on ensuring clear expectations, coordinated support, and a predictable environment where students can engage and succeed. This work is collaborative and grounded in shared responsibility.
We are seeking a leader who can manage systems, support staff, and maintain a steady, consistent presence. The right candidate holds high expectations for both students and adults and understands the importance of alignment across a team.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Content area teaching certificate is preferred but not required at the time of hire
- Teachers will need to obtain Pennsylvania certification, and the school will support staff in completing the required coursework and process
