This position is responsible for supervising the Behavioral Health Technician and monitoring compliance with adopted best practice standards/treatment models; implementing strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the organization’s annual operating plan; ensuring compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; directly supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports.
This position requires evening and weekend hours. This position will mainly be focused in the schools clustered in the zip code of 19111 and specific assigned high schools.
This position is a full time hourly and benefited position. Typical hours are Monday- Friday 9-5 but are flexible to meet child/family and program needs. This position does include in office and remote workdays.
Qualifications
Education/Training: Master’s degree in Social Work or related human service field; valid license for the practice of Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy or a valid license of Social Work or Behavior Specialist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; LSW or BSL must have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
Must meet one of the following:
- Licensed as a behavior specialist in the State of Pennsylvania
- Have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate level certification in behavior analysis.
- Have a graduate degree in ABA.
- Have a minimum of one-year full time experience in providing mental heath direct services to children and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
- Completed a clinical or mental health direct services practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, counseling, or related field.
License Psychiatrist, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker whose graduate degree included a clinical or direct mental health practicum, or a Licensed Behavior Specialist preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ related experience normally required, including experience working in the child welfare, education, and mental health systems. Experience with Evidence Based Practices including TF-CBT, CBE and ABA preferred.
