Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to manage and optimize enterprise database environments. This role involves building and configuring servers, troubleshooting performance issues, and ensuring high availability. Must be motivated and willing to provide occasional weekend support.
Position Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Manage database backups and disaster recovery
- Implement security configurations and compliance
- Preventative maintenance and process improvement
- Support developers and optimize queries
Experience And Required Skill Sets:
- Required Experience: 7 Years
- Expertise in performance tuning, high availability
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Process automation skills (PowerShell, T-SQL, SSIS)
- Willingness for occasional weekend support
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud SQL experience (Azure, AWS)
- Familiarity with IaC concepts and GitHub CI/CD
- Database design and development
- Power BI experience
- ETL design and support
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, engineering or a similar technical field.
