We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Engineer/HVAC specialist to support operations at our Class A office building located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in commercial HVAC systems, hands-on experience with Simmons equipment, and familiarity with boiler-driven heating systems. This role is essential in maintaining building performance, ensuring tenant comfort, and supporting the overall operations of the property.Key Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and repair the building’s HVAC systems and related controlsOperate and maintain Simmons HVAC equipment, ensuring proper performance and preventative careOversee boiler systems used for heating throughout the propertyPerform routine inspections, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsHandle daily building rounds, documenting system performance and identifying issues before they escalateCoordinate and supervise third-party vendors, contractors, and maintenance partners as requiredRespond to tenant work orders promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfactionSupport after-hours emergency responses on an as-needed basisAssist with capital projects, system upgrades, and energy-efficiency improvementsMaintain accurate logs, inventory, and preventative maintenance recordsAbility to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems in a timely mannerAbility to lift 50 lbs and perform physical building operations tasks
