Commercial Construction Superintendent
This is a commercial construction project in Dayton, OH, with possibility of continued work if willing to travel. Qualified candidates must live within a commutable distance to Dayton, OH.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Daily review of compliance with the plans and perform quality control reviews of subcontractors’ work.
- Review, understand, and enforce schedule obligations.
- Daily coordination of multiple tasks/trades simultaneously and identification of conflicts of work conditions.
- Maintain daily log, track and report construction activity on the jobsite.
- Timely identification of potential change order and/or gaps in scopes of work.
- Receive, inspect, and verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure jobsite is kept clean and organized.
- Enforce OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Work Location: In person
- 5 plus years of construction experience, ideally in commercial construction; multiple divisions are preferred.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and renderings.
- Must be available via phone and/or e-mail for extended work hours, including weekends.
- Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
