Print Operations Manager

At Gemini Builds It, we bring creativity to life through high-quality printing and custom manufacturing. We're looking for a hands-on Print Operations Manager who takes ownership of the entire print production workflow—from prepping files and running the equipment to performing maintenance and ensuring uncompromising quality.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable at a computer setting up files and on the production floor operating printers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and manage both roll and flatbed Epson printers, ensuring top-quality production
• Verify print files have proper resolution, sizing, and formatting for accurate output
• Work closely with our sales and design team to understand client’s needs and provide guidance on best solution for print, display, and execution
• Regular cleaning and maintenance of the printers as well as tracking and ordering of materials
• Oversee ongoing high-volume art production programs
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve any potential printing issues with confidence and a solution-oriented mindset
• Maintain strict deadlines, proactively following up to keep projects on track
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless workflow

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years in print production or equivalent, experience with Epson and/or UV flatbed a huge plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (specifically Illustrator & Photoshop), with a keen eye for design accuracy
• Extensive experience in file setup and a strong understanding of printing terminology
• Problem-solving mindset—you don’t just spot issues; you fix them
• A process-driven approach, always looking for ways to improve efficiency
• Confidence in asking questions, seeking clarity, and following up to ensure deadlines are met
• Positive attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 30 lbs
